- the fact that Edvisory class happens only once a week. I think I would shoot myself if I had to do that every day.
- a phone call from Jordan School District asking a few questions about my project. I'm hoping it means they will be approving it soon.
- a fantastic partner in crime who is helping me organize the ASL competition this year. She follows through with everything, and very thoroughly.
I'm a "Thanksgiving" birthday-girl on occasion. I have a lot to be thankful for, and some days it's the only thing that keeps me sane.

Giving Thanks
We had a great Relief Society yesterday on giving thanks. One suggestion from the lesson was to keep a gratitude journal. That's kind of what this blog was supposed to be. So here goes. Things I am thankful for today:
- I am thankful for my students, former and current. I am thankful for the former student who rotated my tires and checked my breaks when I pulled into Big-O today.
- I am thankful that my former student remembered how to ask for a person's name in Sign Language, and wanted to show me that he remembered.
- I am thankful that said student didn't ask me any awkward questions, like: "Do you remember my name?" This is year 12, and I am finding that although I rarely forget a face, student names are getting harder and harder for me to remember.
